"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." - Nelson Mandela

Mission

It started with one country. In Vietnam, "free education" is often not free. Institutions require students to pay fees for items and services such as uniforms, textbooks, and school repair and maintenance, and these costs increase in secondary school and beyond. As a result, according to a CIA World Factbook evaluation in 2001, one-third of children were unable to complete fifth grade due to monetary issues. Thus, ETWA strives to provide school necessities and funds to students in developing countries and marginalized groups in order for them to acquire the knowledge and experiences they need for a brighter future while spreading awareness.

Update

May 26, 2023

ETWA: Educating the World Association has resumed operations and is still accepting new members. No matter who you are, we want to work with individuals who share our vision. In recent news, $500 worth of school supplies were donated to elementary students in Vietnam. For future plans, we are partnering with Tutorxl for summer tutoring and the Sierra Project Foundation to create comics promoting STEM to elementary school students. Special thanks to all members and those who donated!
